Rock the Chemo!
I've been wanting to make this for awhile now.
When I was in cancer treatments, my attitude was top priority for me. I laughed more and joked more in the hospital than just about anywhere else. While my attitude didn't "cure" me of cancer, it certainly made the entire experience more tolerable and life-changing. It also made me get along much more effectively with my oncologist and hospital staff. It helped collaboration and problem-solving easier.
I told myself early on that cancer might kill me in 2 months, but it wouldn't destroy who I was.
Cancer Owl is a manifestation of my attitude about treatment, about cancer, and about myself.
This cartoon is for all of you in the middle of cancer treatments, who have more hell to give cancer than it can give to you.
