Owlet at the End of the World, 2016
This was a deeply personal comic that I made last year.
I decided to reboot it to keep the issues discussed more relevant.
And just like last year, I worry that this comic sends a message that any of the issues I bring up are trivial and people are dumb for bringing them up. The truth is that these issues matter to me too....but after getting cancer, I just stopped caring about the issues as if choosing one way or the other is of apocalyptic proportions.
None of these things mean the end of the world.
We will never stop finding things to get angry and offended about. NEVER.
And again, I'm not suggesting not to stop caring about issues. I'm just saying that so much of it becomes noise when you face the very real possibility of leaving this earth before you're ready.
In the end, being with those you love will always matter the most.
I hope you spend today with someone you care about!
