When I think of my cancer treatments, the words that always pops up is: PAIN and ENDURANCE.
In my treatment, I was burned pretty terribly by radiation, poisoned by chemotherapy for 6 months, and cut up from 2 different surgeries...one of which giving me an ostomy bag for nine months. And I'm not even going into the grittier details that are included with each of those treatments, but I'll just say that PAIN was present throughout each, and with that my pain tolerance went up significantly. It had to improve.
